Wonderful night, wonderful turn-out. Almost 65 kids and parents attended our first movie night of the year. Hot dogs, popcorn, lemonade, sodas and candy accompanied the viewing of "Despicable Me". It was so much fun to see the Club 56 kids manning the concession stand to raise money for our upcoming activities. More movie nights are scheduled for later in the year, so planning on joining the festivities.
OK, so we had one little problem....the air conditioner in the Worship Center where we showed the movie was not working on a night when the temperature was still in the 100's when the movie began. Never underestimate the resourcefulness of a retired mailman !!
